The Universal Strength Machine is a highly versatile piece of sand testing equipment that can measure compressive, transverse, and flexural strength. It is equipped with a built-in load cell and digital display, as well as a powerful motor and a wide range of load capacities. It is designed for precision and accuracy, and is easy to use and maintain.

  • 1.1 General information

    Universal Strength machine is equipped with a loading mechanism and sensing mechanism which are controlled by Microcontroller or PLC and observed on LCD display. By default it can measure Compression strength of an AFS (Dia. 2”X2”) or Metric (Dia. 50mmX50mm) Specimen.

    With the help of attachments which can be bought seperately it can also measure

    · Shear Strength (Refer 4.2.2)

    · Splitting Strength (Refer 4.2.3).

    · Tensile Strength (Refer 4.2.4).

    · Transverse Strength (Refer 4.2.5).

  • 1.2 General Usage

    Keep a suitable specimen in between compression pads or in an accessory and press the start button. Within few seconds the equipment shows the strength reading.
